Bible Classes and STudies

Our Bible classes provide an opportunity to study the word of God together in a setting that encourages comments, discussion, and conversation from the Scriptures. These classes are a wonderful way to encourage one another, grow in our knowledge of God’s word, and address any questions or difficulties we may have in our understanding of the Scriptures. We currently have the following classes below:
Sunday Morning Bible Class
Our 9 am Sunday morning study period is a wonderful time to engage in an interactive period of bible study. This time is dedicated to New Testament studies that typically address reading and meditating on the verses, themes, and text of New Testament books. The class poses an opportunity to provide comments, ask questions, and answer though-provoking questions from the Scriptures.
Wednesday Night Bible Class
Our 7 pm Wednesday night study period is a wonderful time to engage in an interactive period of bible study. This time is dedicated to Old Testament studies and specific topics that typically address comprehension, memorization, and application of Old Testament books and time periods. The class poses an opportunity to provide comments, ask questions, and answer though-provoking questions from the Scriptures.
Children's Bible Class
(2-5 Years Old)
During our Sunday morning bible class period and our Wednesday night bible class period, a children's class for ages 2-5 years old is present. This period of study is taught by equipped sisters of the church who are able to present bible stories and principles in a way where children can participate and understand.
Children's Bible Class
(6-10 Years Old)
During our Sunday morning bible class period and our Wednesday night bible class period, a children's class for ages 6-10 years old is present. This period of study is taught by equipped sisters of the church who are able to present bible stories and principles in a way where children can participate and understand. This class presents a more in depth teaching and challenges than the 2-5 year old class.
An 11 year old through high school aged class is offered on an as needed basis on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights too.
Community Studies and Singings
Once a month, the members of the congregation participate in a community bible study. This study occurs on a particular Saturday morning each month at 10 am. Our current study location is Chick-Fil-a in Foley, and we are studying through the book of Luke. This event has provided a great opportunity to share the gospel with the community and publicly express our dedication to the teaching, study, and spreading of God's word.
Every other month, the members of the congregation have a singing at a member's home. This is open to anyone who would like to attend and provides a wonderful opportunity to learn new hymns, encourage one another, and teach one another through songs, hymns, and spiritual songs.
Personal Bible Studies
One-on-one bible studies are one of the most effective ways to increase your understanding of the scriptures and learn God's purpose for mankind. Individual studies can be tailored to your need through addressing questions, increasing your knowledge on a particular topic, or learning what God requires to obey the gospel.
