The first century pattern
The South Baldwin Church of Christ is a group of saints that assemble in the city of Foley to uphold the first century pattern, as instructed in the Scriptures, in our worship, organization, and beliefs . We uphold "sound words" as Paul instructed Timothy (2 Tim 1:13) by doing all things under the authority of the Lord (Col 3:16). As a local church, we edify one another to stay on the straight and narrow path to eternal life (Heb 10:23-24), show benevolence to one another and saints (Gal 6:10), and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ in our community (Mt 28:19-20). We stand for the truth and desire that all be saved by adherence to truth set forth by God in his word (1 Tim 3:15; 2 Pet 3:9).
